ALEX GUNIA | JazzSick
Records
Eins
Mitwirkende waren u.a. Rob Acid (D), Andi Toma (Mouse
on Mars) (D), Darknorse Prod. (N), Toshi T. (D),
Dr. Walker (Air Liquide) (D), Mike Robkin
(GB), Schlotterbeck (D), tuniq (CH), Fat
Dupont (D), Philipp Sutter (D), M-Klaukien,
Motorcitysoul feat. Matthias Vogt (re:jazz) (D).
is dead since 69“ von 2001 (JazzSick Records/Edel Contraire)
Cobham, Mike Stern, Jean Paul Bourelly,
Steve Smith, Jeff Andrews, Adam Holzman,
Thomas D. und nicht zuletzt Randy Brecker
begleiteten den musikalischen Werdegang dieses außergewöhnlichen
Gitarristen auf der Bühne und im Studio.
Alex Gunia Trio
Gunia - Evensen - Tveit
Alex Gunia - guitar sound treatment
Terje Evensen - acoustic drums
Anders Tveit - electronix, bass
Gunia/Evensen/Tveit is a improvising trio expanding the limitations
of todays jazz in a very experimental manner. The music of this
unique trio takes the listener on a journey through soundscapes with
a extrem strong impact. Gunia´s outstanding guitar sound treatment
and preparations melt in a perfect manner with Tveits electronics and
bass. Terje Evensen flies over these unexpected sounds, noises and
very few notes to give the music always a certain, acoustic touch.
The free music of this trio is like having a big smoke in New Yorks
subway at 3 o´clock in the morning.
